Start with Your Design Dimensions
Determine the size of the graphic area you want for your shelf talker. This is the part that will display your branding, message, or promotion.
Add Space for the Neck
The neck is the section that connects your design to the shelf. We recommend adding 2.5 to 3 inches to the height of your graphic to create a sturdy and visible connection. You only select the image area when you order, and we add the neck and tab during proofing.
Don't Forget the Tab
The tab is what secures your shelf talker to the shelf. Make sure to add an extra 1.25 inches to the height to account for the tab area.
Example Calculation
If your design area is 4 inches tall, here’s how you’d calculate the total height:
- Design height: 4 inches
- Neck: +2.75 inches
- Tab: +1.25 inches

No. Only select the size of the image area. We will add the neck and tab during the proofing stage. The standard neck is 2.75″, and the standard tab is 1.25″. That means a 4″ x 4″ image area will be 4″ x 8″ once the neck and tab are added.
The plastic tab at the end of the shelf wobbler bends to fit into the shelf channel. We also add double-sided foam tape to the tab on every design, so the wobbler still sticks even if the tab isn’t the right size for the shelf.
